I’m a 57 year old disabled female who worked all her life until about 5 years ago. I get $1,056 a month SSD. Medicare does not cover dental. The constant infections have made my health worse and my inability to eat food that needs more mastication than my gums and two lower teeth provide, have left me on a liquid diet (mostly) that has not helped my nutrition intake. my son is 18 months, and he eats alot..but lately he has been running around alot and hasnt been wanting to eat, i mean he eats, but he’s losing weight! but then again he eats on and off.. i took him to the docter and she said that babies his age usaully are like that.. any suggestions on what i should feed him that he would enjoy? or liquids with good nutrition?

Smoothies! You can pack them full of fruit, tofu, etc. You can add flax oil which will help with his omega 3′s – a good source of DHA – brain food! You can set out a "nibble tray" for him, with slices of apple or other fruits he likes, little crackers, cheese and let him have at ‘er when he wants.

I started Mommy Pizza at this age too – take a whole wheat pita and put some cheese on it. Then, put up some chopped up veggies (whatever he would like) and some more cheese, and the bake for about 8 minutes at 350.

Hummus and pita are good, rice cakes with peanut butter (if there’s no history of family allergy). Yogurts. Motts makes these little fruit cups that are like applesauce, but you can get peach, blueberry, raspberry. Unsweetened is better. They still taste great.

I am looking at doing some kind of body cleanse, I was told a liquid diet would be a good way to rid my body of toxins. But I don’t want to lose any of the nutrition that my body needs to survive so I was wondering:

i know that a pregnant lady have to consume more liquid,to take more nutrition but i want ot know about water how much she has to drink.

My doctor told me to drink 8- 8 ounce cups of water a day so 64 ounces of water daily. Best of luck to you.
