Furthering my education…I need some suggestions…?

I am a recent massage therapist graduate…and am very interested in the holistic aspect of it…i love love love to cook…i have been in the military and am a few credits short of my associates degree in applied science…but my question is…if i desire to finish that degree…i want it to be in something like natural health or holistic health…something along the lines of a nutrition degree…and maybe get my associates degree in culinary arts…i know this sounds strange…but…i would love to eventually either teach others about better nutrition or open a restaurant or small food chain that serves healthy and holistic foods…without sacrificing flavor, texture, or presentation. anyone have any suggestions on what i should do first…or how to go about doing something like this? any of you with chef experience or own restaurant…you could give me some pros and cons…etc..or for any nutritionists or holistic health practioners out there…any info will help…thanks.

If you are close to finishing a degree, finish it!! You can continue and get a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and have an emphasis in natural, holistic, etc. Also, certainly take courses in accounting, business, etc — you will need those skills to successfully manage a business.

I personally think maybe you should pursue a degree in nutrition. You can teach people how to eat better and healthier meals. But then again, you have to go with what you really want to do.
If you are a few credits from finishing a degree then you should finish it. Then you can have atleast something under your belt. You need to follow your heart but also weight the pros and cons of a situation.
