KFC Grilled Chicken Health Information Anomaly?? Is this even possible?

Please look at the official KFC website health information for the new grilled chicken. http://www.kfc.com/nutrition/grilled.asp
Notice that it states that all of the chicken contains 0g trans fat.

Now look at the ingredients of said grilled chicken.

KFC® Grilled Chicken
Fresh Chicken Marinated With: Salt, Sodium Phosphate, and Monosodium Glutamate. Seasoned With: Maltodextrin, Salt, Bleached Wheat Flour, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed Oil, Monosodium Glutamate, Secret Kentucky Grilled Chicken Spices, Palm Oil, Natural Flavor, Garlic Powder, Soy Sauce (Soybean, Wheat, Salt), Chicken Fat, Chicken Broth, Autolyzed Yeast, Beef Powder, Rendered Beef Fat, Extractives of Turmeric, Dehydrated Carrot, Onion Powder, and Not More Than 2% Each of Calcium Silicate and Silicon Dioxide Added As Anticaking Agents.
Contains Wheat and Soy.

Is it possible for chicken containing "Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed Oil" to have 0 trans fat? Note that its the 4th ingredient immediately after wheat flour.

My Question is "Is that possible? or is something shady going on?"

companies are allowed to advertise items as containing "0 grams trans fat per serving" if the amount of trans fat is less than 0.5 grams/serving. eat more than one serving and that total can add up quickly

This is quite a conundrum! I have looked at all the info you have provided and kind of feel like you! I found another bit of info on the KFC site:

All of your KFC chicken products contain Zero Grams Trans Fat per serving. KFC has found the perfect recipe, incorporating the Colonel’s 11 herbs and spices with a new cooking oil that contains Zero Grams of Trans Fat per Serving. Besides our finger-lickin’ chicken, many of your favorite KFC side dishes have Zero Grams Trans Fat per serving, including mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. At KFC, it’s all about the recipe. And, your KFC chicken is better than ever!
Side item choices may vary by location.

I am truly lost for words. I really don’t know. It doesn’t seem possible to me that no trans fat is involved……….

    By the way, excellent question!
